Follow these steps to go from sign-up to live chatbot in under 30 minutes.

Create Your Account

Sign up and choose a plan. The 14-day free trial gives you full access — your card is collected for verification but you are not charged during the trial.

STEP 02

Add Your First Client

Go to the Clients section and add a client (this can be your own business). Clients are how the platform groups your chatbots, leads, and sequences.

Create & Train Your Chatbot

Go to Chatbot → Create New. Give it a name, write a system prompt describing your business, and optionally add knowledge base articles so it can answer specific questions.

STEP 04

Embed the Widget on Your Website

Once your chatbot is active, copy the embed code from the Chatbot dashboard and paste it before the </body> tag on your website. It works on any site — WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or custom HTML.

Set Up Automations

Go to Automations and create rules that trigger when a new lead arrives, a lead is qualified, or an appointment is booked. You can send branded emails automatically and connect to other tools via webhooks. SMS and WhatsApp are on our roadmap.

Create an Email Sequence

Go to Email Sequences and build a multi-step nurture sequence. Enrol leads manually or let automations enrol them automatically when they come in.

Common questions answered.

Do I need technical skills to use AI-Assist?

No. The platform is designed for non-technical users. If you can copy and paste a line of code, you can embed the chatbot. Everything else is point-and-click.

Do I need my own AI API key to use the chatbot?

No — AI is included in your subscription. Our team manages the underlying AI provider for you. Advanced users on higher plans can optionally bring their own Anthropic or OpenAI key from Dashboard → Settings → API Keys, but it is not required.

When will WhatsApp and SMS automations be available?

Both are on our roadmap and not yet live. Email info@aiassistsmes.co.uk to join the waitlist and we will let you know the moment they ship.

What happens when I hit my plan limit?

You'll see a clear message in the dashboard when you're approaching or at your limit. The platform will prevent new items from being created over the limit. Upgrade your plan anytime to increase your limits.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Go to Dashboard → Billing → Manage Subscription to cancel. You'll keep access until the end of your billing period.

Is my data GDPR compliant?

Yes. All data is stored in EU-region Supabase infrastructure. The platform includes unsubscribe links in all automated emails and respects opt-outs. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
